Cheesy, predictable, with stilted dialogue and acting and a nonsensical plot, You’re Next is typical albeit above-average horror porn until it’s gleeful, glorious denouement – a simple mechanism delivering something I’ve been wanting to see for years. Don’t expect Cabin in the Woods, or the genre’s recent best, Kill List. This is not a clever film. It is not mimicking the low brow. But go in expecting stupid fun, and that’s exactly what you’ll get.
